Fraxel Laser
treatment (Fraxel restore) |
 |
|

|
Fraxel Laser Treatment is an amzing a
revolutionary way to reverse the signs of ageing, to treat various types of
dermalogical issues such as scars, wrinkles, brown spots, elasticity, colour
and minimise pore size on several regions of the body to include the neck,
face, chest and hands (other areas may be possible for treatment after
discussion with the cosmetic dermatologist). Fraxel Laser Treatment combats
the damage that time, the sun, the environment has done to the skin by
exposing and generating new younger looking skin.
Fraxel Laser Treatment is a system which stimulates the restorative process
of the body by introducing microscopic laser beams into the skin layers.
This treatment eliminates the old epidermal skin cells and penetrates deep
into the dermis skin layers. Frexel stimulates the production of new
collegen and new skin is formed. Fraxel is precise and accurate,
approximately 20% of the skin area is treated per session and surrounding
skin is left unharmed and intact. Which means that the recovery time is
faster and more comfortable. New healthy tissue that is created gives a
healthier, tighter and therefore younger appearance to the skin. New healthy
skin will start to grow immediately after the procedure takes place.
Each treatment usually lasts from between 20-30 minutes for full face
treatment and the number of treatments necessary will depend on each
individual although it can be normal to have between 3-5 sessions to achieve
the desired results. Post treatment typically results in a mild burning
similar to that of sun burn for up to 3 hours. The skin may be slightly
swollen or red in colour for 2-3 days after treatment and for some this may
last up to 14 days. Normal exfoliation of the dead skin will take place for
7-10 days after treatment and best results can be seen 10-16 weeks after
treatment (variable from patient to patient).
